On Friday, officers received a report about a vehicle parked in the handicapped space at Care Unlimited on South Brady Street. Officers had the vehicle removed. The owner of the vehicle was cited.
A 47-year-old Rockton man reported Friday that he was involved in an accident at the intersection of Shaffer Road and Bee Line Highway. The man and the other driver exchanged information and then both parties left the scene. The Rockton man later went to the hospital for treatment and his vehicle had to be towed.
Blinker Sheetz employees reported Saturday that an intoxicated male was in the parking lot, with a female passenger in his vehicle that was not wearing pants. The driver was gone upon officers arrival, and could not be located in the area.
On Saturday, officers were called to an Overdorf Ave residence for a domestic dispute between a 30-year-old woman and her 34-year-old husband. The man allegedly struck the woman in the head and neck after the two had been arguing. The man was taken to Clearfield County Jail on a 48-hour detainer since he had been drinking.
A David Reed Road man reported Saturday that a 27-year-old DuBois man had crashed his vehicle in his yard. The 27-year-old had been drinking and as he was attempting to move his vehicle, he went into the neighbor’s yard and got stuck in a ditch. Charges are pending.
A 22-year-old Treasure Lake man reported Sunday that while he was Friendly’s, someone smashed out the windows on his Cadillac CTS. The investigation continues at this time.
On Sunday, officers were called to a Haines Drive residence for a report of possible child neglect. Upon investigation no problems were found.
False alarms were reported at two, different Treasure Lake residences on Sunday.
A 34-year-old Haines Drive woman reported Sunday that someone parked in her handicapped parking space. Officers handled the situation without incident.
A false alarm was reported Sunday at the K-Mart store.
On Sunday, a 17-year-old DuBois boy was traveling too fast on Oklahoma Salem Road and lost control of his vehicle. His vehicle subsequently struck a guiderail before crossing the road, striking a ditch and overturning onto its roof. No injuries were reported.
