He stated that one of the members of the Goodwill Hose Company had been using the department’s gas credit card to buy gas for his personal use. Surveillance video from the stores showed Lingenfelter putting gas into a vehicle that belonged to his then girlfriend.

In an interview with police, Lingenfelter admitted he took the gas card over 50 times which he used to put gas into either his girlfriend’s vehicle or the vehicles of other friends.

Paperwork for the card shows that Lingenfelter used the card 58 times betweenNov. 30, 2010 to March 23, 2011 for a total of $1,835.54.

According to the complaint in the retail theft case, Lingenfelter was caught concealing items valued at $351.56 at Wal-Mart.
