Police Report: DuBois City

At approximately 9:26 a.m. Tuesday, police reported a hit-and-run accident in the area of Liberty Boulevard and Hoover Avenue. The victim told police she was northbound on Liberty Boulevard in the center turning lane when another vehicle struck the trailer attached to his own. The victim described the suspect vehicle as a blue, four-door that was possibly an Oldsmobile. He noted that the vehicle had front-end damage, which it sustained from the accident. The investigation is ongoing at this time. Anyone with information is asked to contact the DuBois City Police Department.
At approximately 3:40 p.m. Tuesday, police were dispatched for juveniles who were fighting in the city park near the YMCA. The complainant advised that two juveniles were assaulting another juvenile. At arrival police made contact with the involved juveniles. The witnesses and involved juveniles advised that they were “wrestling and kidding around.”
