Obituary Notice: Nancy L. Myers

Nancy Louise Myers, 67 of West Decatur, passed away December 19, 2011 at Clearfield Hospital.

Born Jan. 31, 1944 in Philipsburg, she was the daughter of of the late James R. “Jink” & Helen L. (Stonebraker) Kanouff.

On April 10, 1965 in West Decatur, she wed Peter Earl Myers, who died Jan. 27, 2006.

She is survived by children:

Ronald E. Myers                                                                     of Philipsburg

Brenda L. Meyer and her husband Steve                               of Lindley, NY

Amy S. Myers                                                                         of West Decatur

Grandchildren:

Tara Lynn Gregory and her husband Jess, Roni Lee Myers and her fiancé Josh Hummel and

James R. Myers

Great-grandchildren:

Sierra Nicole Myers, Dominick Silas Gregory, Mekenzie Sue Gregory, Addysson Alexa Gregory and Hayden Isabelle Hummel

She was the last of her generation.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.

She was a graduate of Philipsburg Osceola High School, she was a member of Oak Grove United Methodist Church, West Decatur, she was a homemaker and enjoyed her grandchildren.

A Memorial service will be held at a later date & time. Burial will be in Reidy Cemetery, Wallaceton.  There will be no public visitation.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, 228 N. Centre St. Philipsburg, PA 16866
