CLEARFIELD – In honor of the 2010 Clearfield Area High Schol Bison football team, Clearfield Borough Mayor James Schell proclaimed Dec. 3 as “Red and Black Attack” Day.
Schell and Borough Operations Manager Leslie visited senior band members, senior cheerleaders and senior football players on Thursday to present this proclamation. The Bison football team has 13 victories this season, and travels to Shamokin to play the Allentown Central Catholic Vikings in the PIAA quarter finals.
“The support from the Bison Band, the cheerleaders and all the fans is a true indication that the pride and spirit of Clearfield is alive and well,” said Schell.”
Residents in the community are urged to wear black in red on Friday in honor of the football team
