Jay continues to hold a commanding lead, but things are tightening up behind him. As the high school season winds down, there will be more of an emphasis on the NFL and college – and we WILL have bowl predictions as well in December! On to the picks….

The Last Word:
Jay: “I think order will be restored in District 9 AAA football this year. PSU showed me something the last two weeks, but not enough to stay with OSU on the road. The better teams have to start winning in the NFL now, right?”
Chris: “Terrelle Pryor will show Nittany Nation why Penn State should have tried harder to recruit him as the Buckeyes rout PSU. Sure, they won a couple of AFC titles there, but Bill Bellicheat and the Patriots won’t be so good at Heinz Field this time around.”
Dustin: “Punxsy vs. Clearfield is going to be a rowdy, rambunctious atmosphere. Both teams are undefeated, and this is the same game from last season where Clearfield got beat soundly. The crowd is going to be loud, and is probably the game of the week. Cannot wait for this one.”
Rusty: “Every week I pick the 12 winners; why don’t they know who should win? Playoff time makes picks even harder in high school matchups. It should be a great game in DuBois with two unbeaten teams. I was wrong in the first meeting with the Eagles and Redskins, but Vick seems fit to give the Eagles the edge this week. I do believe in miracles, but with 400 out of the way, I don’t see PSU besting The Ohio State University.”
Dave: “Kind of a weak slate of college games this week. Pitt needs to win this game off a bye, I’m always intrigued when Spurrier plays Florida, and I think the Steelers have too many injuries along both lines to beat the Patriots. Like everyone else, though, I think the Clearfield game is the one to watch this week.”
