Police Report: DuBois PSP

Police reported an incident of theft from a motor vehicle that occurred sometime between 12:30 a.m. and 4 a.m. Nov. 2 at Veolia Environmental Services on state Route 219 in Washington Township, Jefferson County. Someone who operated a newer Volvo truck tractor pulled up to a Veolia garbage truck and reportedly removed 61 gallons of diesel fuel from its tank. The fuel is valued at approximately $200. Video surveillance captured the alleged incident. Police are currently working to enhance the video to assist in the identification of person responsible. Police reported an incident of theft by unlawful taking that occurred sometime between Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 at a residence on state Route 950 in Winslow Township, Jefferson County. A person(s) arrived and allegedly removed a Western V style plow, which was red in color, from a 43-year-old Falls Creek man’s yard.
