Priscilla J. McKinney, age 84, formerly of Houtzdale passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at the DuBois Nursing Home.
Born August 13, 1926 she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Elizabeth Flick.
She was a 1944 graduate of the former Osceola Mills High School and had worked for Sylvania and also for her husband at a bookkeeper at the McKinney Construction Company.
She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Houtzdale and a former Sunday School teacher.Â
On November 12, 1946 she wed Robert A. McKinney who preceded her in death.
Mrs. McKinney is survived by a daughter, Nannette McKinney-Sankey of DuBois; three sons, Robert and his wife Cathy of Philipsburg, Jerry A. McKinney and his wife Kathy of Houtzdale, William J. McKinney and his wife Lori also of Houtzdale;Â five sisters, Lorraine Ridgway of Osceola Mills, Jean George and her husband Mose of Gap, Donna Calderwood of Lancaster, Diana McCracken and her husband Clarence of Clearfield, Gwen Provins of Clearfield; and two brothers, Gerald Flick of Lancaster and Kenneth Flick and his wife Deanna of Clearfield.
She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 5, 2010 at 11 am. at the First United Methodist Church, Houtzdale with the Rev. Robert Ford officiating. Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Heath Funeral Home, Osceola Mills.
