CLEARFIELD – Motorists travelling on Route 3014 (Atherton Street) in State College, will encounter continuing lane restrictions the week of October 25. Lane closures next week will include:

• Monday through Thursday: Closure on Valley Vista Drive of lanes adjacent to Sheetz and Lowes.

• Monday through Thursday: Right lane closure on Atherton Street westbound near Meyer Dairy.

• Tuesday through Thursday: Right lane closure on Atherton Street westbound between College Avenue and Beaver Avenue.

The closures should occur between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m.

The work is part of a $1.4 million project to link 17 traffic signals in Patton, Ferguson and College townships and State College Borough. In addition to connecting signals and installing signs, the contractor will install other components to monitor traffic flow.

Drivers are reminded to obey posted speed limits and always buckle up. PennDOT reminds motorists they can log on to 511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions before heading out.
