TYRONE — Facing the one team that they beat earlier in the season, the Clearfield girl’s tennis team was looking to pick up another victory.
Unfortunately, they fell one match short and lost by the score of 4-3.
Clearfield winners were Suzie Colesar and Hillary Buck in singles and the doubles team of Colesar and Sierra Grice.
Singles results:
Colesar beat Denea Gummo 7-5, 7-6; Sierra Grice lost to Keturah Weaver 3-6, 6-1, 6-7; Buck beat Amber Allman 7-5, 6-2; Jessica Roussey lost to Kelly Moore 2-6, 0-6; Tori Hallstrom lost to Maria Aquadro 4-6, 4-6.
Doubles results:
Colesar/Grice beat Gummo/Moore 9-7; Hallstrom/Buck lost to Weaver/Allman 5-8.
Clearfield (1-14) will be in action for their last match of the year on Monday October 25 when they travel to Huntingdon, a team that beat the Lady Bisons 4-3 earlier in the season.
