No one had a perfect week thanks to West Branch’s clutch win and the Eagles loss. Jay, Chris, and Rusty broke out of the gates quickly, while Dave’s failed upset picks left him trailing the pack. On to this week’s key matchups:

10/8 – 10/11 games Jay Siegel Chris Morelli Rusty McCracken Dustin Parks Dave Glass

Last Week 9-3 9-3 9-3 8-4 7-5
Year-to-date 9-3 9-3 9-3 8-4 7-5

The Last Word:

Siegel:  “Marquee matchup in the area, two undefeated teams: Brockway looking at this one as a revenge game, Curwensville just looking at it as a win.”

McCracken: “Curwensville’s defense is as good as Brockway’s offense, and I know The Tide have a better offense than the Rovers’ defense – Curwensville wins going away. West Branch will get its second win for the fans, and I think the Illini will have a hard time getting pumped up two weeks in a row for a big game.”

Parks: “I love the elements that will play into the Curwensville-Brockway game.  You have a ground and pound attack vs. an air assault, it will certainly be an incredible matchup.”

Morelli: “I’m not ready to put PSU on upset alert, but the Nittany Lions will get all they can handle from an Illinois squad that put a scare into Ohio State.”

Glass: “They say styles make fights, and the contrast in styles in Brockway this Friday makes this a must-see game. Ravens might be in for a letdown after the big win in Pittsburgh.”
