JOHNSONBURG — The Clearfield girl’s tennis team travelled to Johnsonburg on Tuesday and were beaten 8-1 to drop to 1-9 on the year.
Clearfield’s lone win came from the doubles team of Tori Hallstrom and Hillary Buck who beat Kylie Taylor and Paige Msrtonik 8-4.
Singles results:
Suzie Colesar lost to Laura Stahli 5-7 and 0-6, Sierra Grice lost 0-6 and 1-6 to Taylor Scida, Hillary Buck lost 1-6 and 1-6 to Chelsea Benson, Jessica Roussey lost 1-6 and 0-6 to Krista Jacobs, and Tori Halstromlost 3-6 and 1-6 to Riley Fannin 3-6 and 1-6.
Doubles results:
Suzie Colesar/Sierra Grice lost 2-8 to Laura Stahli and Taylor Scida, Tori Halstrom and Hillary Buck won 8-4 against Kylie Taylor and Paige Msrtonik,
the third and fourth matches were forfeited.
Clearfield’s next match is at Central on Thursday.
