Police Report: PSP CLFD

R. O. Strickland, 51 of Clearfield, suffered minor injuries after he lost control of the 2000 Chevrolet Silverado he was driving. The accident occurred on state Route 453. The roads were slippery and caused him to lose control. He hit an embankment and then overturned on roof of the Silverado. The truck was towed by Andy Ross Towing. Due to environmental and roadway factors, Strickland was not cited for any vehicle code violations.
Police are investigating a theft that occurred Sugar Camp Road in Penn Township. Steve Dimmick, 30 of Mahaffey, told police that someone stole a tent that was estimated at $60.
Police are investigating a theft at Northern Sun Mining site off of state Route 153 in Woodward Township. Sometime between August 21-23 someone stole CB radios, grease guns and grease, stereos, and speaker equipment. The total loss is estimated at $2230.
