DUBOIS – Work activity on PennDOT’s Hospital Avenue/Dixon Avenue realignment project in DuBois will feature the following change tomorrow, Aug. 25.

Paving on Hospital Avenue will continue through Aug. 25. No detour will be used but motorists should be alert for flaggers, alternating traffic pattern and moderate travel delays. From 6:30 a.m., paving and line painting will take place throughout the day and work is expected to run through early evening. Drivers who are traveling through the Main Street/Dixon Avenue/Hospital Avenue area on non-hospital related business are encouraged to use alternate routes. The overall project will re-align Hospital Avenue with Dixon Avenue.

Work includes roadway widening, new traffic signals, and improved access to DRMC. The job is scheduled to run through late November of this year.

SET, Inc. of Lowellville, Ohio, is the contractor on the $4.2 million project.

PennDOT reminds motorists they can log on to 511pa.com or call 511 from any phone to check traffic conditions before heading out.
