Obituary Notice: Carrie V. Brewer

Carrie V. Brewer 85, of Curwensville passed away  Aug. 17, 2010 at the Clearfield Hospital.

Born Aug. 6, 1925 in Indiana County she was the daughter of Harry T. and Rachel L. (Byers) Cunningham.  She had been employed at the Clearfield Cheese Plant in Curwensville for 15 years. She was a member of Curry Run Presbyterian Church in Shelocta, PA.  She also was a member of the Curwensville Moose, the Curwensville RH & L Co., the Curwensville VFW and Curwensville American Legion. 

On Sept. 28, 1946 in Plumville, Indiana County she wed Paul R. Brewer who preceded her in death on April 20, 1967.  She was also preceded in death by a son Raymond Brewer and 4 brothers Homer, Vay, Delos and Clyde Cunningham and a sister Lavera Steffy.  She was the last member of her generation. 

She is survived by 4 children Rodney Brewer and his wife Nancy of Marion Center, Donna Ditch and her husband Jerry of Saltsburg, PA, Kenneth Brewer and his wife Rosalie of Marion Center, and Randy Brewer and his wife Renee of Grampian, PA. Also surviving are 9 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.   

At the request of Mrs. Brewer there will be no public viewing or services.
