Unofficially Summer:  The Clearfield Lighting Committee’s mission is to make Clearfield brighter by spearheading the Christmas and summer decorative lighting in Downtown Clearfield.  It takes a lot of time and effort of local volunteers to make these activities happen each season for all to enjoy.  Just in time for this Memorial Day weekend, pictured above are the community-minded individuals who graciously installed the star lights in downtown Clearfield Thursday evening.  From left to right:  Brandon Rowles, Dan Charles, Aaron Neeper, and Justin Swisher.  After the activities were completed, the young men noted that it made them feel good to be part of the betterment of our town.  The Clearfield Lighting Committee is currently lead by Karen Miller, Abigail Billotte and Keely Casteel.  Donations and inquiries of volunteering can be directed to:  The Downtown Clearfield Lighting Fund, 538 South Second St., Clearfield, PA  16830.
