Snappy’s Convenience Stores once again partnered with the American Cancer Society to help raise $3393 for the Society’s 37th annual Daffodil Days campaign.
Ten Snappy’s Convenience Stores located throughout Central Pennsylvania, encouraged patrons to purchase and place their name on a special Daffodil Days donation card, which were displayed at each participating store during the month of March. The top selling store this year was Snappy’s of Bald Eagle managed by Sonya Harsonchuck. Cheryl Christine, employee at the Bald Eagle store, was the overall top seller. Cheryl told American Cancer Society Cancer Control Director, April Sherry, “I help do this because of my husband who is a cancer survivor.” Proceeds benefit the American Cancer Society’s programs of cancer research, education, advocacy and patient services.
“All contributions,” stated Sherry, “allow the American Cancer Society to save more lives and create more birthdays by helping people stay well, helping people get well, by finding cures and by fighting back. The American Cancer Society wishes to thank all ten Snappy’s Convenient Stores for their dedication to this event !”
