Luerene A. Graham, 94, of Woodland, PA, passed away Sunday, May, 2, 2010 at her home.
Born September 10, 1915 in Six Mile Run, PA she was the daughter of Elmer R. and Mary A. (Rabenstein) Swoope.
Mrs. Graham was a homemaker.
She was a member of Wesleyan Faith Holiness Church.
Mrs. Graham is survived by seven children; Shirley Yebernetsky of Monroe Twp. NJ., R. Duane Graham and his wife Marsha of DuBois, Marian Jovich of Somerset, PA, Ralph D. Graham and his wife Gwen of Bon Aqua, TN, Thelma Smith and her husband Daniel of Preemption, IL, Melvin C. Graham and his wife Nora, of Woodland and Carolyn Smeal and her husband Rodney of Morrisdale, twenty-three grandchildren, forty-three great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
She was the last member of her generation having been preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert C. Graham whom she married September 10, 1936 and who passed away on August 28, 2003, two sons; Sherman E. Graham and Sanford C. Graham, two sisters; Betty Timblin and Beulah Baker, a brother; Kenneth Swoope and a granddaughter; Susan Smeal.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 6, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc. Clearfield with Rev. Russell Mencer and Rev. James Davis her grandson-in-law co-officiating. Interment will be in Dales Cemetery.
Friends will be received at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6-9 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of services.
