Obituary Notice: Helen E. Seaburn

Helen E. Seaburn, 73 of Jersey Shore, PA, passed away on April 28, 2010 at Divine Providence Hospital in Williamsport, PA.

Born on Nov. 19, 1936 in Grampian, PA, she was the daughter of Lerena V. (Wassam) Haag who survives, of Milton, PA and the late Meirel L. Haag.

She was employed by Brodart in Williamsport, PA for six years and was a homemaker.

Ms. Seaburn was Baptist by faith.

She enjoyed doing embroidery and sewing. Her family was her life.

Ms. Seaburn is survived by her husband William C. Seaburn of Jersey Shore; four daughters: Linda L. McGary and her husband Gary R. Seaburn of Curwensville, PA, Tammy L. Blake of Wake Forest, NC, Gail Y. Seaburn of Clearfield, PA, and Valarie J. Smith and her husband Kim T. Smith of Jersey, Shore, PA; eight grandchildren: Roger McGary, Catina L. DuFour, Billy McGary, Crystal Christian, Danielle Blake, Eric Gillingham, Robert Smith and Amber Smith; twelve great-grandchildren; two sisters and a brother: Mary Jane Bennett and her husband Gilbert of Milton, PA, Darlene Smith and her husband Chuck of Falls Creek, PA and Larry Haag and his wife Dale of Berwick, PA. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her father; a grandson, Joey Gillingham and a son in-law, Bruce R. Blake.

Funeral services will be on May 1 at 11:00 a.m. at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, Inc., 312 E. Locust Street, Clearfield, PA with her grandson, Rev. Roger McGary officiating. Interment will be in the Crown Crest Memorial Park in Hyde, PA.

Friends will be received at the funeral home on April 30 from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 6:00-8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of services.
