Obituary Notice: Kathryn Hensal

Mrs. Kathryn (Pollick) Hensal, 82,  Madera, passed away at 1:55 p.m. on April 11, 2010 at Clearfield Hospital.
 
Born on May 12, 1927 at Janesville, PA , a daughter of the late Alex and Anna (Franchock) Pollick.
 
She was Baptized Ukrainian Orthodox and married William J. Hensal on Oct. 12, 1946 in Winchester, VA .  He preceded her in death on Oct. 24, 2004.
 
Mrs. Hensal worked for the J.B.C. Co. of Madera, Sylvania Products of Houtzdale and the Charles Navasky  and K & B Sportswear of Philipsburg.  She retired from K & B Sportswear after nineteen years service.
 
She is survived by three sons and a daughter;   John William “Jack” Hensal and his wife Nancy of Port Matilda, Francis Eugene “Gene” Hensal of Madera, Gregory Thomas “Tom” Hensal and his wife Cheryl of Madera and Sharon Ann Reed and her husband Richard of Ventura, CA..
 
She is survived by the following  grandchildren;  Amy Sharer, Julie Hensal, Brian Hensal, Ryan Bates, Trevor Hensal, Andrew Sharer and Benjamin Sharer.
 
She also is survived by two sisters and two brothers; Mary Ann Bassaro and her husband Robert of Clearfield, Peggy Terry and her husband Richard of Curwensville, John Pollick and his wife Mitzie of Clearfield and Donald Pollick and his wife Ruby of Bloomington.  A number of nieces and nephews survive.
 
Along by her parents and husband, Mrs. Hensal was preceded in death by two sisters, Dorothy Hoover and Betty Brunetti and a brother Ronald Pollick.
 
Private Services will be held at the convenience of the family at the  Kruise Funeral Homes, Inc., Madera, with Rev. Thomas A. McCoy officiating.
 
Interment will follow in the Alexander Cemetery, Madera.  Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 26 South Second St. Clearfield, PA 16830.  Online condolences may be sent to: condolences@kruisefuenralhome.com
