CLEARFIELD – Clearfield’s hometown Nashville recording artist Jerry Schickling will once again return to the CAST Building on April 10 at 7:30 p.m. to kick off his summer tour season. Fresh off the release of his new CD “It All Comes Back To Me,” Jerry and his band, North Country, are excited about this year’s show. “We’re really looking forward to hitting the road this summer and performing for all the great folks who come to our shows, and I can’t think of a better place to get the summer started than at CAST,” he said.

Tickets are $5.25 and can be reserved by calling the CAST office at 765-4474 and can also be purchased at the box office the night of the show.  Seating is festival style which means ticket holders may sit wherever they choose. Doors will open at 7:00 p.m.

This year’s concert will feature Jerry’s entire band, North Country, which includes Brenda Weber, Mark Kos, Murph Martell, Kathie Ann Pearcy, Dave Jones and Gary Bowser. There will also be a special guest appearance by acoustic performer Paul Shimmel, who will open the show.

Jerry added, “The band and I are headed to Wheeling, WV on the first of May to perform on the historic Wheeling Jamboree. On the air since 1933, it’s the second longest running live radio show in the country, and our performance at CAST will be a great primer for our trip to Wheeling. We can’t wait to see lots of folks at the show!”

“We really enjoy having Jerry at CAST,” said Ruth Loffredi, CAST Executive Director. “It’s always such a fun evening. Not only is it a good night of country music but Jerry interacts with the audience and pulls them right into the show. Everyone has a good time.”

The CAST Building is located at 112 E. Locust Street in downtown Clearfield. Visit the CAST Web site.
