Florence Margaret Townsend, 105, a resident of Windy Hill Village, Philipsburg and formerly of Clearfield, passed away on March 4 at her residence.
She was born on Feb. 5, 1905 in Altoona, PA and was the daughter of Harry Vernon and Rose Mabel (Washburn) Kreps.
She was a christian by faith and had been a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church of Clearfield.
She is survived by a daughter, Arlayne (Mock) Corman of Curwensville,PA, eight grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren and twelve great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Townsend was preceded in death by her parents; two husbands, Harper Washington Mock and Theophilus V. Townsend, and one grand daughter, Nancy Corman Jury.
At the request of Mrs. Townsend there will be no public viewing or visitation. Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
