FLINTON – Are you looking for a unique way to spend a day? Join the Central PA Zoological Society on Nov. 7 as they visit ZooAmerica in Hershey, PA to explore the park and then participate in a two-hour behind the scenes tour of the medical building, education room and bears holding area. Learn fascinating facts about animals and the way ZooAmerica cares for them. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to feed the otters, touch a reptile, or hold a bird of prey. The day will end with dessert, coffee and soft drinks catered by Hershey Entertainment.

This program is geared for ages 18 and older. Cost is $35 per person. Price includes zoo admission and behind the scenes tour. Send payment to CPZS at PO Box 421408; Flinton, PA 16640. Payment due by Nov. 1.

The Central Pennsylvania Zoological Society is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to increasing the quality of life for Central PA residents. CPZS currently offers animal educational programs to schools, community organizations, and for special events and also organizes educational field trips for the general public to area AZA (Association of Zoos & Aquariums) accredited zoological parks. Long range plans include implementing an animal-assisted therapy program for children and developing a zoological park in the Central PA region specializing in providing both educational and therapeutic experiences for people of all ages.
