CLEARFIELD – Work on PennDOT’s bridge replacement job along DuBois Street in the city of DuBois continues on schedule. The week of July 6, crews will be working to pour the deck on the new bridge. This work will not affect traffic.

Parkway Drive at the DuBois Street end remains closed to through traffic but Kohlhepp’s True Value Hardware can be accessed from the closed end of Parkway Drive. All other Parkway Drive businesses and recreation can be reached by using Liberty Boulevard.

Minor traffic delays can be expected in the DuBois Street area, with flaggers in place as necessary. All work on the job is weather dependent.

Francis J. Palo, Inc. is contractor on the $3.8 million dollar project. The new bridge is expected to be open to traffic by September.

PennDOT reminds motorists to drive with caution in work zones, be alert for stopped or slowed traffic, obey posted speed limits and always buckle up.

For more on information on roadway construction and maintenance operations, visit PennDOT’s Web site.
