CLEARFIELD – Monday will bring a PennDOT closure of state Route 3014 (Five Points Road) in Chest Township, Clearfield County. The closure will make a detour necessary. Starting June 8 at 7 a.m., crews will begin work to replace a bridge. The bridge is the middle one of three bridges along SR 3014 in this section of Chest Township. The detour will direct drivers to use SR 36, SR 3006 and SR 3001.
PennDOT Clearfield County Maintenance will perform the bridge replacement work and signage will be in place to alert drivers to the closure and detour. PennDOT expects the work to be finished by July 3.
PennDOT reminds drivers to obey posted speed limits, follow detour directions and always buckle up. For more information on roadway construction and maintenance operations, visit PennDOT’s Web site.
