PHILIPSBURG – State police in Philipsburg are investigating a report of ‘sexting’ at the Philipsburg-Osceola Junior High School.
According to police they received a report that nude pictures of a 13-year-old girl were texted to several other students. Police are currently investigating cell phone records. Police stated that juvenile charges may be filed at a later date.
The issue of teens text messaging sexually suggestive photos, or sexting, recently hit the news when Clearfield County District Attorney William A. Shaw Jr. announced charges against a 15-year-old Clearfield County girl for sending nude pictures to a 27-year-old man.
