CLEARFIELD – The formation of a Curwensville Lake Authority is coming closer to a reality as a public meeting has been set to gather input from the public.
The meeting is scheduled for Jan. 6 at roughly 9:30 a.m. at the Clearfield County Courthouse Annex.
The Clearfield County Commissioners have been exploring the formation of a lake authority for some time now.
The new authority could have five, seven or nine board members. Commissioner Joan Robinson-McMillan said that they have received quite a few letters of interest.
