PINE TOWNSHIP – State police in Clearfield reported that a New Milford woman was injured in an automobile accident on Interstate 80 on Thursday afternoon.
Priscilla Allen was traveling west in the left lane. For an unknown reason she left the roadway and traveled into the median for about 36 feet. She swerved the vehicle to the right, causing it to slide north across both westbound lanes of travel. Her vehicle left the road and traveled onto the north berm where her wheels dug into the ground, causing her vehicle to overturn. The vehicle rolled twice and came to rest on its wheels facing south.
Allen suffered moderate injuries. Police were assisted at the scene by the Clearfield Volunteer Fire Department and Clearfield Emergency Medical Services.
