DUBOIS – The mid-afternoon flight is making its return to the DuBois Regional Airport.
Effective April 9, the airport’s schedule with US Airways express will include a 1:45 p.m. outbound and 4:15 p.m. inbound flight between DuBois and Pittsburgh.
“Where we had a large gap, we will now have a flight in and a flight out,” said Denise Trunzo, marketing director.
Other changes include removing the evening flight between out of DuBois and into Pittsburgh. The flight from Pittsburgh to DuBois will continue as scheduled with a 9:10 p.m. arrival.
A Friday afternoon flight is also being added to the calendar, with the additional flight taking off from DuBois at 9:40 a.m. and arriving from Pittsburgh at 12:20 p.m.
Flights on the weekends will remain the same under the new schedule.
The announcement of the schedule change was made at Friday morning’s Clearfield-Jefferson Counties Regional Airport Authority meeting.
