Old Man Winter has disrupted the late-season schedules for the Clearfield and Curwensville scholastic basketball teams all week, and four games booked Thursday night were added to the postponement list because both schools were closed due to the severe weather conditions.

The Clearfield boys\’ home game with Ridgway, called off two nights in a row, now is scheduled for Saturday, athletic director Jon Mikesell announced. The junior varsity game is set for 5 p.m. Seniors will be recognized prior to the varsity game at approximately 6:30.

The Clearfield girls\’ game at Bellefonte has not been rescheduled, according to Mikesell.

In addition, Mikesell noted the Lady Bisons\’ home game with Curwensville postponed from Tuesday to next Monday has been postponed again because the Lady Tide is scheduled to host a District 9 Class A quarterfinal game Tuesday.

Curwensville athletic director Allen Leigey announced the Moshannon Valley League games for the Golden Tide and Lady Tide at Glendale have been moved from Thursday to Friday night. The girls will tip off at six o\’clock and the boys at approximately 7:30 in the varsity-only doubleheader.

Mikesell and Leigey hope to schedule the Curwensville-Clearfield girls game for a later date.
