CLEARFIELD – Henry Guthrie of DuBois will be running for the office of register and recorder for Clearfield County as a Democratic candidate. He will begin circulating nomination petitions this week for his name to appear on the primary ballot.

Guthrie is a life-long resident of the area, has graduated from DuBois Area High School, and has attended Clarion University. He currently serves as inspector of elections for the City of DuBois in the Third Ward, where he was recently elected as a ward co-chair for the Democratic party.

The candidate is employed by Fullington Trailways LLC., based in Clearfield, and is 37 years old. He has been married to his wife, Molly, formerly of Rockton, for four years and has three stepchildren and a son, Graham.

Guthrie has worked with numerous county officials through his involvement with the City of DuBois Democratic Committee and looks forward to serving Clearfield County residents as register and recorder in a trustworthy, organized and efficient manner
