HARRISBURG – Gov. Edward G. Rendell will hold a news conference at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in the Governor’s Reception Room to announce a comprehensive, alternative energy initiative. The governor’s plan will encourage the production of alternative fuels that will reduce the reliance on foreign energy sources and save consumers billions of dollars over the next decade.
