CLEARFIELD – The January meeting of the Clear-Penn Chapter of the International Association of Administrative Professionals was held Jan. 9 at the Joseph and Elizabeth Shaw Public Library in Clearfield.
After a brief business meeting, everyone enjoyed light refreshments and dessert. The president, Carol Lundgren, CPS/CAP, presented an informational program on professional correspondence.
The IAAP Clear-Penn Chapter meets the second Tuesday of each month and welcomes new members and guests.
Networking, leadership and education are just some of the benefits offered through IAAP.
Areas in which administrative professionals’ responsibilities have grown are office management, information coordination and supervision along with travel planning, meeting planning, project management and online purchasing. Administrative staff frequently handles budget development and expense tracking.

The February meeting will be on Feb. 13 and will begin at 6:15 p.m. at the Joseph and Elizabeth Shaw Public Library in Clearfield.
