BECCARIA – A 43-year-old Coalport man was charged with cruelty to animals after allegedly shooting a Siberian husky.
According to Clearfield-based state police, the man shot the husky, named Sage, with a .357. The bullet struck the animal’s right rear leg. When the bullet exited, it severed the dog’s tail.
The dog, owned by Rebecca Spencer of Beccaria, is alive.
