BOGGS TOWNSHIP – The Department of Environmental Protection is helping community members to stay informed about the long process that is a landfill application.
A Web site has been set up by DEP to advise the public about milestones reached in the Camp Hope Run Landfill permit process.
A similar site was developed for Resource Recovery LLC, the company plans to build a landfill in Rush Township, Centre County.
DEP will post developments in the process including when the application is determined to be administratively complete, meaning that DEP has determined that all of the pieces necessary for the application are present. DEP will also post some correspondence between the agency and PA Waste LLC, the company planning to build the Camp Hope Run Landfill.
