The Gant Daily Athlete of the Week for the first week of 2007 is Clearfield heavyweight wrestler Sean Owen.
The sophomore beat the undefeated #1 seed, Gabe Murtorff, to claim the championship at the rugged Tool City Wrestling Tournament at Meadville.

Earning honorable mention for claiming titles at the Cambria Heights tourney over the weekend are Curwensville wrestlers Derek Brothers and Nick Sipes, and West Branch\’s Shane Pewanick.
On the hardwood, Dani Struble poured in 50 total points in two Lady Tide victories. Kari Larson led the West Branch Warriors to two victories also with her 40 points.
