KANE – Police were called to investigate a New Year’s Day fire at a Kane mobile home.
A state police fire marshal, Kane Borough Police Department and Kane Fire Department investigated the inident that damaged an unoccupied mobile home on Y Street in Kane Borough.
Investigators determined that the incident was arson, with someone entering the home at about 3:30 a.m. and lighting materials inside on fire.
Damage was minimal in the fire, but police are still looking for anyone who might have information that could lead to an arest. Those with information should contact state police or Kane police.
