Athlete of the Week — 12/18 – 12/24

The Gant Daily Athlete of the Week for December 18 through December 24 is Curwensville basketball player Philip Michaels.

Michaels led the Tide to two key Mo Valley League wins by averaging 23.5 points. The Tide is undefeated in league play.

Honorable mention goes out to the West Branch Lady Warriors Basketball team. The Warriors went 2-0 on the week to already beat last year\’s win total 5 to 3.
