CURWENSVILLE, PA.—– Seniors Dan1 Struble and Jackie White paved the way for Curwensville over West Branch Thursday night, 69-51 at Curwensville\’s Patton Hall. Struble dropped in 18 while White had her best output of the season with 17 as the Lady Tide upped their record to 3-1 overall and 3-0 in the Mo Valley league. The Lady Warriors lost their fourth straight and are now 3-4 with a 1-1 Mo Valley record.
The Ladies from C-ville jumped out to a 17-7 first quarter lead and never looked back. The only bump in the road was Struble hitting the floor late in the second quarter. The Tide point guard left the game with a bloody nose and returned late in the second quarter. No problem! White stepped up and scored 10 in the second period to lead Curwensville to a 37-14 margin at the half.

Denny Arnold\’s Lady Warriors, all underclassmen, were led by freshman Rebecca Kephart with 15 and juniors Jolene Wesesky, 13, and Kristen Perks with 10. Hannah Walls chipped in with 11 for the Lady Tide.
