CLEARFIELD – A Curwensville woman accused of conspiring with two others in the Burglary of Alletta’s Farm Market waived her right to a preliminary hearing Wednesday.
Melony Fryberger, 19, is charged with four counts of criminal conspiracy.
Court documents allege that Fryberger, Shad Bloom, and a 16-year-old drove to Alletta’s Farm Market on Sept. 14. While there, Bloom and the juvenile forced open the bait room door. While inside they removed Slim Jims and change. Fryberger was driving the vehicle the trio used. She told police she was unaware of what the other two were doing.
Bloom said Fryberger knew.
“He (the juvenile) said to pull in and she said why,” Bloom told police. “He said we were going inside.”
Bloom had already waived his right to a preliminary hearing on the matter, and both Bloom and Fryberger were in Magisterial District Judge Patrick N. Ford’s on Dec. 9 for more burglary charges in the Grampian area.
