CLEARFIELD – One more of the many people arrested in last spring’s DuBois drug bust faced sentencing on Tuesday.
Court documents indicate that Monica Carlins, 48 of DuBois, sold heroin to confidential informants or undercover police officers on Feb. 23, March 27, and April 19.
Carlins pleaded guilty to three counts of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance. On one count, Clearfield County President Judge Fredric J. Ammerman sentenced Carlins to nine months in Clearfield County Jail, three years probation, and Carlins must submit to DNA testing and complete drug and alcohol counseling. On the other two counts Carlins was sentenced to two years probation on each count to run concurrent to the first sentence. Carlins must also pay fines and court costs.
