BURNSIDE TOWNSHIP – Punxsutawney-based state police confirmed that a body was found in the remains of structure fire in Burnside Township.
Tpr. Jamie Levier said that the structure was a seasonal residence. No determination has been made as to the cause of the fire. Levier said that the state police become involved in situations such as these when bodies are found.
No one from the Community Fire Co. in Mahaffey would be reached for comment on the fire.
