CLEARFIELD – A man spent some time in jail after allegedly striking a pregnant woman.
Lawrence Township Police responded to Clearfield Hospital for an assault victim. There they learned the Eddie Wilsoncroft, 24, allegedly struck the pregnant woman, causing injuries to her head.
Wilsoncroft was apprehended and placed in Clearfield County Jail until he was sober enough to be arraigned, according to police.
Wilsoncroft is charged with two counts of simple assault and one count of harassment. He is free on $1,500 bail. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for Nov. 8 at CCJ.
