Athlete of the Week — 10/16 – 10/22

The Gant Daily athlete of the week goes to former Clearfield 3-sport star Tanner Kelly.

Kelly, a freshman quarterback at Albright College, completed 22 of 29 passes for 282 yards and 2 touchdowns in a 39-35 loss to FDU-Florham. Kelly actually led his team to the lead in the 4th quarter, only to lose late in the game.

Honorable mention goes to the scoring duo in Clearfield\’s overtime victory over St. Mary\’s:

Will Bacharach scored from nine yards out to knot the score at 20-20. It was his second TD run of the game.

Kyle Kline then booted his 3rd extra point to earn the win. Kline was 3 for 3 in deplorable field conditions.
