DUBOIS – Most people wait for the vehicle to stop before getting out. One Rockton resident did not, according to Sandy Township Police Department.
According to the report, the resident was traveling with his mother from Treasure Lake when he jumped from her moving vehicle. It was reported that he was under the influence of either alcohol or a controlled substance.
He was eventually located by police. A search revealed prescription medication that did not belong to him.
The Rockton resident was charged with underage drinking, resisting arrest, possession of a controlled substance, theft and public drunkenness.
