Athlete of the Week — 10/9 – 10/15

The athlete of the week for this past week is Curwensville girl\’s soccer player Skylar Redden.

Redden scored 4 goals in an 8-2 Lady Tide victory over rival Moshannon Valley. Curwensville is 12-5 on the season.

Honorable mentions for the week:

Former athlete of the week Isiah Morgan of Clearfield had another big game. Morgan rushed for 180 yards and 2 touchdowns in Clearfield\’s 24-14 win over D9 rival DuBois.

Last week\’s athlete of the week, Nick Sipes had another big night for the Golden Tide. Sipes rushed for 199 yards and 3 touchdowns in Curwensville\’s 55-19 blasting of Smethport.

Clearfield soccer player Tyler Shaw had 3 goals in Clearfield\’s 9-0 whitewashing of Punxsutawney.
