CLEARFIELD – Curwensville Borough K-9 Officer Zeus and his partner, officer Jim Ward, will demonstrate their skills at the Mountain Laurel Kennel Club Pet Expo Saturday at noon.
The presentation was just added to the expo’s program, according to MLKC President Geremy Kephart.
The event will offer a full day of demonstrations, speakers, activities and vendors from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Zeus and Ward recently helped apprehend two fugitives who escaped from police custody at the Hyde Uni-Mart. Among Zeus’s certifications are drug detection and subduing criminals.
“Zeus is a true hero and an asset to our community. We are thrilled that he and Officer Ward are able to be part of the pet expo,” Kephart added.
