Johnstown — Krysten Medzie, a former multi-sport star at Clearfield HS, has walked on to the soccer team at Pitt-Johnstown. Looks like the adjustment from walk-on to star player has been mission accomplished for Medzie.
Medzie has helped UPJ bolt out to a 6-1 record. Medzie added her sixth goal of the season Sunday in a 5-3 victory over LaRoche College. The win was UPJ\’s 4th in a row.
She is leading the team in shot percentage, scoring 6 goals on 19 shots on goal. Medzie is also among the team leaders in goals (tied for 3rd) and assists (tied for 4th).
