CLEARFIELD – It was reported by GantDaily that Boggs Township solicitor chairman Bill Dickson stated that Clearfield County solicitor and former Boggs Township solicitor Kim Kesner “had trouble representing both the county and the township with the pending landfill matter.”

This statement was made after a township resident questioned why Kesner was no longer representing the township.

Kesner responded to that statement at the Clearfield County Commissioners work session on Tuesday.

Kesner said he was not at the meeting, so he was unsure of exactly what was said. Kesner noted that from that statement the public could infer that he resigned or that his dual representation role precluded effective representation.

Kesner said that neither was the case.

According to Kesner, the issue was not discussed with him, and that he received a letter from the Boggs Township Supervisors telling him his services were no longer required.
