WILLIAMSPORT — Pitchers Jarrod Fagnano and Stefan Moff of Williamsport West End teamed up to one-hit the Clearfield Babe Ruth League 13-Year-Old All-Stars for a 10-0 victory in five innings Saturday morning at Robert Baier Logue Memorial Field that ended the visitors\’ stay in the District 8 Tournament.
Jonathan Palumbo\’s single was the lone safety for Clearfield, which finished 0-2.
Tyler Knepp was the losing hurler. Jason Bowman, Trevor Flanagan and Ethan Gillespie also pitched.
After State College defeated Potter-McKean 11-3 in the winner\’s bracket final, West End ousted Potter-McKean 11-5 to earn a championship game rematch with State College Sunday at 1 p.m. A West End victory would force another game at 4 o\’clock for the right to advance to the state tournament.
State College beat West End 4-2 in eight innings Friday night.
